founder conceived Monty's of Provincetown in 1992 after years of
travel. In Europe pottery and colorful dinnerware is a wonderful
experience. The preparation and presentation of food and love of
life is evident in each piece of pottery created. Monty's desire
was to have this art be affordable at home.
Monty's collection
today consist of both Italian and domestic pottery. Monty's Italian
collection of ceramics and pottery is a composition of work by over
35 of Italys leading artisans located throughout the Almalfi region.
Each piece created by hand is truly cherished by the eye. From strong
sensitive hands flow grateful shapes for the home, ideal for entertaining
or everyday home décor.
In every piece
of the Monty's Collection a bit of the soul of the artist, history
and Italian culture are captured. Monty's attention to detail makes
all the difference in the selection of the pottery. In pottery slight
variations are signs of unique hand made work, which are true treasures.
